B&K Supplies New Steel Framing Plant

B&K recently supplied a 3TSR Supermill® and Accessory System to a new factory in Canada, to produce drywall and structural steel framing and related components. The 3TSR Supermill® will manufacture drywall and structural stud and tracks from 25 to 12 gauges, in 2-1/2” up to 14” web widths, and 1” to 3” leg heights at speeds up to 300 FPM.  The Accessory System produces six (6) unique accessory profiles in multiple gauges, including a continuous pattern rotary punch unit for RC-1 and RC-2 Resilient Channel.  Both systems were supplied with AMS XL200 Controllers as well as Eclipse software, enabling the customer to queue their production directly from the office, to the production floor, as well as accurately tracking coil material being used.

B&K patented gauge adjustment and rotary technologies make the Supermill® and Accessory Systems the highest production and versatile steel framing solutions available.  The Accessory System can be expanded to produce up to eight (8) unique profiles and multiple hole patterns.  For more information, contact sales@formtekgroup.com , call (216) 292-4460 or visit www.bkformtek.com.

Yoder MS-3 Roll Forming Machine – HVAC Application

Yoder recently supplied Macor, Monterrey, Mexico, with a new, MS-3 Roll Forming Machine.  The rafted, twenty-six (26) station, 2.5” shaft roll forming machine incorporates the latest version of the M-style roll forming stands, which includes Yoder’s new eccentric toggle disconnect.  The roll forming machine was supplied with a  precut entry table and transfer conveyor system, enabling the machine to be fed tailored blanks from Macor’s existing coil processing equipment. This production arrangement allows the roll former to run in a high production mode or in kits to feed downstream production.  With the rafted capability of the roll forming machine, additional tooling sets can be added, with quick changeover for future products.
