Tishken recently supplied MD Metals, Bedford Park, IL with a
STR-40 Tishken Edging System. The
system can process strip up to 4” wide and up to ¼” thick., featuring two banks
of edging rolls as well as a combination edging/de-cambering section that and
can produce a variety of edge types. The
line is capable of producing de-cambered and leveled cut-to-length strips as thin
as 1/16” and as narrow as ½” wide.
Tishken Edging Systems for ferrous and non-ferrous materials
are available with Recoiling and CTL models at widths of up to 12” and
thicknesses up to ½”, and can also be retrofitted into existing coil processing
