Yoder Supplies A Rebuild M-1½ Roll Forming Stand

Yoder recently supplied a manufacturer of ceiling grid the rebuild of M-1½ Roll forming stands for 2 roll formers and 6 sets of tooling.  The rebuilds and tooling will bolster the customer's US and Asian manufacturing production.

Yoder MS-3 Roll Forming Machine

Yoder recently supplied Jame Roll Formed Products with a new MS-3 Roll Forming Machine. The twenty (20) station, 3” shaft roll forming machine incorporates the latest version of the M-style roll forming stands, which includes Yoder’s new eccentric toggle disconnect.  With the ability to form profiles up to 6.5” deep on the MS-3 model, the disconnect mechanism allows the top drive gear to be taken out of the fixed gear ratio, on specific stations, to accommodate tooling designs that do not match the machinery gear ratio. This will enable Jame Roll Formed Products to run their existing 3” bore tooling on this new machine without modification.

M-Style Retrofit Kits Now Available

Yoder recently released retrofit kits for the M-Style Roll Forming stands. Existing rolls stands can be retrofitted to handle higher line speeds, greater material capacity and longevity between maintenance cycles and reduced changeover times. Recent installations have enabled tube mill customers to increase material capacity by 15% while both roll form and tube mill customers have been able to double line speeds or more!
